Rumah Kelahiran Mahathir Mohamad

Our first trip in Kedah Darul Aman is visiting our former Prime Minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad place of birth in Alor Setar. We can walk from Pekan Rabu and it may took around 15 minutes.

Here we can get a lot of information about Tun before he active in politician.This home has been entrusted to the national archives by recommendations Museum State of Kedah on May 1993. On 29 June 1990 the Museum State of Kedah received a letter of authorization from Tun Dr Mahathir to preserve and promote this place to become one of  tourist attractions in kedah.

We prefer all of you to walk from Pekan Rabu and it took around 15 Minutes

Visiting Hours 

Tuesday - Sunday from 10 am to 5 pm ( closed between 12p

m-3pm on Friday)

Monday closed  ( except school holidays, public holidays )
